Blood Brothers, an Expertly Wrought Political Thriller

Bestthrillers.com (read full review)

Blood Brothers is a tale about two young men from Botswana, Sasha and Dumisani McDaniels. Sasha is white and Dumisani is black. ‘Dumi’ was adopted at childbirth, the same day Sasha was born. Even though they are not biological brothers, they are as close as real brothers can be and more. Their parents were nature enthusiasts and documentary filmmakers, who tragically were brutally murdered by blood thirsty poachers, led by the notorious Molo Sahili. After their parents’ death, the brothers, now also profound martial artists, decide to move to the United States, their parents’ country of origin, where they start a new life. This dream is shattered almost immediately, when they inadvertently and unknowingly witness an armored car heist making them ‘loose ends’ that the robbers need to tie up. It turns out that the mastermind behind the robbery has strong ties to a man who has his sights set on the White House, so the brothers need to be silenced at all costs. The brothers believe they will be safe in their home country, so they try to make it to the Mexican border on foot and catch a flight back to Botswana. Meanwhile, the pursuers get closer to catching them with every minute that ticks by, and it’s a life-or-death race against time.

The Triumphs of Kahuru

$14.95 Softcover | $9.99 eBook

The year — or season — is 1779. The legend of Kahuru the human leopard has spread to the far off lands of The Americas, in particular to a plantation in Raymond, Mississippi, where the tales of this remarkable being are told and retold among the slaves. This prompts Henry Thomas Davies, the slave master’s son, to eventually lead an expedition to ‘The Dark Continent’ in search of the human leopard. This he does in spite of unspeakable dangers along the way. The excursion was prompted because of the trust Henry developed from a forbidden friendship with the slave, Melvin Davies, whose real name is Sanza Kazadi. Melvin is a slave of unsurpassed intellectual prowess and an uncanny ability to recall facts very few people can —  a slave who claims to have seen the human leopard in person.
